    Twin inlet cat-back options...

Trying to explore what my options are for a twin inlet/outlet cat-back exhaust, or simply a muffler w/ tips. Haven't found much, short of just dumping $400+ into a entire cat-back system.

Wondering if you fellows might know of something, wish Magnaflow had a twin inlet option, as there's all seem to be single inlet.

    Thanks in advance,
    Trevor Ely

There aren't many 2 inlet/outlet cats out there cheap. You could just use 2 small-body cats with single inlet/outlet.

Key ingredient is a good muffler shop, unless you just buy a whole system and bolt it together.

Yeah, I've got a pretty dependable muffler shop...just trying to avoid buying a whole cat-back, but my options are slim.

Guess I could use two glasspacks.

        DOH.

Just re-read the original post- you didn't mention replacing cats......so much for my reading comprehension.

Anyway, the dual glasspacks are cheap and easy. I did mine about 8 years ago, they are pretty much completely hollow now- all of the packing has blown out, but they sound pretty good.

Just cut off the old muffler and weld on 2 glasspacks, fab up a hanger and go!!

Well, actually I'm doing a twin exit header, fabbing the midsection...just trying to find a muffler w/ tips or cat-back to cut up and finish it all off.
