    Magnaflow 14815

im getting a new exhaust fabbed up, and im wondering if you guys think strait 2.25" piping to 14815 will be to loud of daily driving? Im thinking it will be sinsible, and i could always get a resonator thrown in afterwards right?
Also, will i need the stock muffler clamps(hangers for actual muffler) to keep the magnaflow in place? or how does it attach to the car?

I just ordered a 4x9 universal muffler myself.

to answer your question, yes you need the muffler brackets although, they will need to be cut to a smaller size to fit the magnaflow. Any muffler shop can do this. brackets are cheap anyway.

I have the 14833 muffler (dual tipped square rolled) from a single 2.25" inlet..

It's fine. not too loud at all.

I would just get everything new. Tip on the rubber donuts, get a paint roller and just use your leverage to pop those suckers in. Easy.

hey MitchFong, did you get the magnaflow 14815? or did you go with another route instead? if you did though, Id like to know hows it going so far? you see, I have the magnaflow 14815 just installed and I love it so far, not too loud, just my liking, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty (the salt on the roads here in winter kills an exhaust) so I got it here magnaflow 14815, or you can try one of the vendors selling magnaflow exhaust magnaflow exhaust, they are always running sales/specials. either way its a great system and very easy to install....

if you go to PLANETMAGNALFOW.com right now they sell them for 186.29 on sale right now

but if you then type in "Magnaflow" for a coupon you get 15% off plus free shipping.

I just did this and am waiting for my muffler, my cost was 165 total i think.

I'm not a vendor or anything, just found this good deal. I would go with this site because it's the best warehouse with Magnaflow parts.
