Hello e30 community, I recently bought a 1987 325e and it has a hole in the muffler, it is also hanging by some wire. I assume I have to replace the entire exhaust looking to spend like 250 at the most what should I look for as far as brands for my car?

Depends, what tone you want. You can look in this thread and on youtube. You could either get a bolt on exhaust from companies like Magnaflow, Ansa, Supersprint, or Stromung. Or you could have an exhaust shop weld an exhaust setup for you. I've posted videos on different exhaust setups in here.
