    Exhaust installation Q

Question: when instaling a new exhaust, what do you do with the o2 sensor? I plan on having a y pipe to strait 2.25" piping to my magnaflow. But do i make the y pipe after the o2 sensor, or do i relocate the o2 sensor into the new piping? Would it make any sense to leave some stock piping and then join y pipe after o2 sensor?

that would work, unless you plan on having headers added on too

nope. Just wondering if the stock piping after the manifolds with defeat the purpose of 2.25" piping?

well from what i've read on here, single piping would have less surface friction, and saves weight. So it's a win win situation. I'm planning on going 2.5in single for my m50

Less surface friction? Sounds like BS.

A single pipe saves weight, two pipes will get the exhaust out of your motor faster, unless they are too big (2x 2" is WAY too big)
