my m42 is straight piped to a vibrant ultra quiet resonator, then a thrush super turbo muffler. after a few thousand miles it broke in and sounds very good! your car is sounding good too!!! 2.25 inch pipe all thru in my case

Moved to the correct part of the forum. Also what muffler? They have a few... I got a Thrush Welded on mine , has a lot of drone to it.
