Noob question on exhaust

This has probably been asked before, but here goes.
Will an E36 exhaust work on an E30 with S50 and what modifications if any are needed? Thanks

I'm not positive about all of them but a lot of the e36 mufflers have a bend in them so those ones probably won't fit. From what I've seen most guys just buy headers off of ebay (or genuine ones for much more $$) then do a y-pipe into 2.5 or 3 inch single pipe, then a universal muffler (magnaflow, borla, etc). Thats gona be ridiculously loud though, you might want to add a resonator and a cat for emissions. If you want something quieter look at supersprint, their stuff is really expensive but top quality
