    Headers on!!

I picked up these headers a while back( few months).......and they have not been getting much play on this site so here goes. R3 has helped me much, I hope this educates some of ya.............

    St.St. 304 tubing...Supersprint profile.....16 gge tubing....

    I run a 2.5 single system...so the x that came w/ these was fabbed to a y.... I no longer run an x. I used a new o 2 sensor w/ extended wires. I run a mf cat and borla can.

car is edgier and more raw in its sound...she pulls well above 5k...but was always strong there....no low end loss felt. No big sound change as well except for above 5k..she wails. Minor fit issues as most headers....no biggie.

Any ? welcomed. I always wanted headers, now I hav em........and an s 50 is in the works....so some day Ill sell em.... my butt dyno is not telling me much. Throttle response up top is vg, sound is nice at wot, no downsides.......only a dyno will tell.....maybe!

Did you have any fitting problems? I had a problem with my IE's on #5 tube.

I ve heard IE had some issues. We had some issues w/ flange closet to firewall and maybe the 4 th from fw....but I went to a well schooled low key racer type shop. W/ some large pry bars and gentle tapping it was no biggie. Ive been around a long time.........there are millions of poor fitting header stories.....even the big buck ones. It was no biggie. It was tough getting topside nut on to stud closest to fw.......we cut stud about 1/4" and dented pipe by flange a bit for more finger room.....that was the hardest part.......
