E to I exhaust?

yes the i exhaust will fit on the e but the O2 sensor is futher back. Dont even need to modify

You don't even need to use the I manifolds if you don't want to. My e's exhaust bolted up to I manifolds, so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

Does the "es" have duel exhaust from the factory? Or did someone stick a "i" exhaust on my car. It's duels into a H pipe then duels into the cats and duels comming out of the cats into the muffler with duel tips.

Somebody swapped it in your car. They came with a single exhaust that looked the same as the one on an early 318.
