    Planning a setup... including Ansa

Ok, just some preliminary thinking. My car has cams and P&P so it's time to take the most advantage of it...
I want to keep a cat... mainly because I'm "green". Magnaflow recommended the dual-brick 94800 cat:

    So probably the 94806.
I am then planning on upgrading my damaged OEM Ansa muffler... now, I know you may bash Ansa for being a little on the cheap side, but they sound quite nice, and should hopefully give me some boost in HP. So I will get their performance muffler w/centrepipe, which Bavauto sell.
Does anyone know the Ansa centrepipe diameter? Thanks.
(I don't have my e30 w/me right now, so I'm also asking this also: is the stock cat 1->2, or 2->2?)
If it's 2-2, then for the Magnaflow I will get a 2x2"->1x2.5" y-pipe, then 2.5"->2.5" cat, then another 1x2.5"->2x??" y-pipe back to the Ansa centretube.

    What do you guys think?
    Thanks

I would go with dual 2 1/4" in order to take full advantage of the cam and P&P. 2" is the stock diameter, I believe.
    My 2.9L Build!

My last Ansa has lasted 3 years, not really any rust, I do live in Florida...
I will get an Eisenmann or Supersprint MAYBE IF I come across some extra cash...

Yeah I guess I could see that in non rust belt areas. But I still hear they rust out from the the inside-out. It's too bad as they used to be a nice quality system.
