    Custom exhaust too loud

    Hi everyone,
    Ive been searching for the last two days since I got my car back from the muffler shop and heres the problem. Its going to be about another month before I can put my TCD S1 kit on, but in the mean time i needed a new exhaust b/c the muffler feel off right before inspection. So i went with a full 3" knowing it would kill my power for the time being until I could turbo. I went with a magnaflow cat and a moroso spiral flow muffler in the rear single 3" pipe all the way through. No suprise... its loud as SHIT and i cant stand it. I am really upset, but i know i want expecting it to be like an 8 out of 10 but its more like a 12. I have the hope that adding a glasspack can help tone it down. I know that it will take about a week for my moroso to break in because my brother has one on his Hemi Grand Cherokee and it toned down significantly but i still need something else. Does anyone know if a cheap glasspack from the muffler shop can help me out? Thanks for the help.

    Either a glasspack should help or a resonator. I believe Magnaflow sells resonators as well. You should talk to your muffler shop. Mine's super helpful. I tell them what I want and they tell me what I should have put on. They're always dead on when they recommend something.

      Ya know, the turbo will act like a very good muffler once you put it on.

          Yes i am completely aware that the turbo is in fact a giant muffler once its on. But for the next 30 days paying 50 bucks to keep my teeth from vibrating out of my skull not to mention not sounding like a 50 dollar rice boy fart can is worth it to me.. i just cant tolerate it for the time being. I have to get down and measure it but i think i can only fit an 18 glass pack, the 23 inch might be too long. Hopefully this will help but id like to tone it down, just wanted to know if anyone has done this for the time being. Thanks again.
