Thanks for the info. I was planning on doing that anyways,If this is your goal, go by a 4 cylinder car :-P
Seriously, if you plan to still drive it on the street, you may be asking for an impossibility. Too loud of an exhaust and you're likely to get the attention of a cop who can site you for 'illegal' or 'street racing' mods (or whatever silly laws they have in your region to scare the ricers). If you want the best of both worlds have two systems - one for street, the other for drift - and run them at the appropriate times.

Simple answer to this...
No pipes, straight out of the ports...
Really loud.Leave a comment:

Well on our lemons car we chopped right at the O2 sensor and put on a 2' Summit Glasspack that was 18 bucks, terminating right behind driver seat. Its pretty loud, fairly deep and raspy. Sounds okay, wouldn't want it on the street, but does quite it down enough to "legal" sound requirements of 92dB @ 50ft.
Example you can hear what it sounds like.Leave a comment:

I went single 3 inch w/ a magnaflow at the end on my m50 swap. Passed emissions really well. They even tested the car as a 318 like it originally was. But that was before the muffler was broken in, so it was much quieter than now.Leave a comment:
