Does anyone have an Ireland Engineering catback exhaust sound clip?

I've searched and searched and can't find one anywhere. Obviously I'm looking for one on an M20. I found the files on the review thread for it but they're long expired.

I'm thinking about getting the Ebay GT55 since it's the same setup. Anyone have a sound clip??

I dont have a clip but I have an IE catback thats been sitting in my garage. I decided I'm going to build my own system so I think I'm going to try and sell it (hint hint). What are the ebay ones going for?

Is it brand new? There are two different sellers on Ebay selling them and they are both local. They're $255 out the door if I pick it up. If you could do that shipped I may be interested but I'd really like to hear what it sounds like first.

Ya it's brand new, never installed. $255 is cheap, shipping would be expensive and make it not worth it for me. I did find this though (I'm not sure the link is still good, youtube is blocked at work).

No worries, man. I'll just pick it up locally. Thanks for the link but that sounds like an M42 and not an M20.

Thanks guibo. Yeah, I think that's the sound I've been looking for all along, if not my stock exhaust. Mine's the original muffler but it's not swiss cheesed and actually sounds pretty nice. I just wanted it a touch louder. That Magnaflow setup I put on was insanely loud and sounded real ricey to me. What sound are you looking to get?

same as you. tame sound, but more than stock. the problem is that im after performance also, so that means i always have to accept more noise.

im pretty much set on the following setup: bavauto headers > x-pipe > dual metallic hiflow cats > ie catback (all with 2" dual piping)

should flow more than enough for my engine goal (most aftermarket exhausts are overdesign) and keep the sound tame. if it's too loud, ill have to weld in a resonator.

I have two of them on two different cars. Actually one was from IE and the other was from one of those ebay vendors and both are identical. They sound great, and have a oem tone and a bit louder than oem.

One of mine I am actually planning on using it after I do my s52 swap too...

Good product and even better if you buy the cheaper of the two

are the tubes really 2" vs the 1.75" stock?

I will say I went through the samething you are as well, and I just finally just pulled the trigger and bought one not knowing. I am actually very pleased with it afterwards...

I don't think so but I will double check for you tonight. That is part of why I have decided to go a different route, though I'm a little nervous to drop the cash, spend all the fab time, and have it end up sounding like the civic down the street...
