Has anyone bought the "Super Turbo" Muffler from SummitRacing?

The exhaust piping for my 91 318is is rusitng, and I need to replace it. I dont plan to get any Bling Bling exhaust parts, cuz the muffler is really the only real restrictive element in the E30.

Wanted to know if anyone has bought the so called "Super-Turbo" muffler from Summit. Its recommended in the tech section, and is cheap. Only problem is there is a whole bunch of them and I cant find which one applies to my 91 318is.

Lastly is a free breathing Cat worth the buy for E30's?

So Im guessing what you have is this:

Could you describe the sound. Dont want to sound like a ricer.

Edit: Do you have a 325 or a 318? IIRC isnt the piping on the 325 2.5" and the 318's is 2.25"

That's it. Definitely doesn't sound like a ricer. It's a little deeper at idle and can get kinda raspy up above 6500, but definitley worth the small price if you just want a sporty sounding muffler.

I'm actually running a Magnaflow offset/offset 2.25" muffler right now. I think the part number is 11265 or something like that. Sounds great, but its pretty loud. All stainless and everything, though, and it doesn't rasp that badly.
