    Hydemotorworks supercharger kits

After almost 10 years with an s52 I feel like I’m ready for more power. This is just a feeler. I know turbo or s54 may be cheaper but I’ve always wanted a roots or twin screw supercharger. I also debated doing a higher comp, larger cam s52 but that gets pricey for not a big gain and my current s52 only has 75k miles.

I see Hyde motor works is offering reasonably priced kits for either the sc14 or Eaton m90. Both supercharger kits I’m looking at offer similar displacement and are capable of mid 300 whp/wtq. I see the sc14 is more available internationally and Eaton m90 short snout is slightly more available domestically. What are the pros and cons of each? I’m currently tuned on obd1 by trm (which I’m happy with). Given their history with the Eurosport kits ($$ and hard to find) do you think they could help with tuning?

Dont bother with the SC14. i have spent countless hours tuning one on an m54b30. Its incredibly good at sending IAT through the roof and not much else. HMWs claim of 300hp is definitely possible....at the crank.

Sounds good. I’ll probably go Eaton m90. With regard to your IATs, were you running an intercooler with your sc14?
