    Turbo Option Poll

    -I want to make 400 at the crank.
    -Track only, very occasional street
    -I like tighter coarses, more turns
    -still want quick acceleration and spool out of the corner

    Well your requirements already answer your question. You obviously cannot use an HX40 on with good results on a road course.

    Id recommend my previous turbo, a Garrett 60-1E with a T3 .63 exhaust housing spinning a Ptrim wheel.

      what numbers were you making.
      describe your power band a liitle please. peakboost, curve, etc

        also, i should be ok putting that much power into a hx35 right. My opinion based on its stats are a yes. but i have seen different people saying they wouldnt trust a hx35 over 350hp

          If your going M30 than yes the HX40 is perfect. Spools very quickly.

              A 60-1 is a good choice. Depending on the right trim you can get power down low an a good pull up top.

                The HX35 in the correct trim is more than enough for 400hp at the crank. Learn to read compressor maps.

                  reading from A. Graham Bell's book and a Book by Cartech that is like a very detailed Cliffs Notes for turbocharging. Unfortunately, my project is surpassing my rate of reading comprehension. So, any help you guys can give me in the mean time is very valuable.
