    Turbo recommendations??

So i'm in the middle of collecting parts and its time to start hunting down the heart of any build.

I want a turbo that will get me about 300-350whp.
something that will spool up quick and give good power threw out the power band. I'm hoping to spend less then $600 on the turbo

The e30 is gonna be a track car/weekend car kinda thing. i got a 330 that i use as a DD

Which turbo do you guys recommend and why?

Holset HX35 off a manual trans dodge 5.9 cummins diesel. The autos had the HY35, you want the HX its a bit more aggressive

holset hx35, 16cm^2 v band housing with external waste gate, sexy sexy, and room to grow with compressor wheel swaps etc.

running divided entry manifold w/divided entry turbine= very nice improvement in low end, also it's just not hard to do, even using an existing manifold and having it modified, i.e. ebay manifold, or 666 adapter style manifold, modified for external WG and divided entry, with an hx35, you could do your entire hot side, with full 3" mandrel exhaust for under $800 probably, just need a half decent deal on a good condition hx35, or rebuild one, the kit is cheap and it's simple.
