    Vacuum operated switch suggestions?

I wanted to ask before I purchased anything to save myself time of returning and repurchasing. I need help finding a vacuum switch that turns power on when going atmospheric or pressurized. I am open to switches other than Stewart Warner (such as something from a stock application because I can get them cheap through my work) as long as it will comply with my specifications.

On SW's website I found this kit: 78632 http://www.stewartwarner.com/Catalog/swpres.html (Second one down on the third gridsheet.)

It is factory set at 1psi and is normally closed. Would this work for what I need?

Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate it!

I was thinking of a hobbs switch

I need something that does the opposite of the hobbs switch. I need it to be on during vacuum and off during boost.

why not wire a relay to the switch so it cuts power during a boost event.

A vacuum electrical switch designed for use in automotive, which has a vacuum sensitive membrane that trigger mechanism for the shipment of one of its two stable conditions. The transitional assembly has a spring biased key blade center movable contact between two fixed contacts to provide switching action attribute of a moment. the son of fixed contact is removed by bending the ends of the terminals are insert molded into a database that directly support the switch contacts.
