    bottom mount the turbo, intercooler in the trunk or between grill and stock radiator, use only black hoses and no chrome pieces.
    how will you pass smog? you will have to have a really clean burning turbo set up!

    Usually rear mounts are ok on v8s because they already start
    out with at least 300hp right off idle.

    Ya, huge lag. That's a lot of charge pipe to pressurize.

    Kinda stupid but it would be the best feeling when a cop asks you to pop the bonnet expecting to find a turbo and finds nothing. Also I couldn't imagine how loud that setup would be with the dump pipe going straight to the exhaust tips. Wouldn't this also suffer from serious turbo lag.

    In Maryland you can register the car historic if its 20 years or older. This means no smog or visual inspection. So turboing is not an issue now :finger:. However if you don't have a 20 year old car, you have to first find a crooked inspection station and pay them $50 more. Then for emissions when you go and fail, they keep your $14 but you don't have to pay again then you retest every couple months. As long as you retest within there time limit your golden.
