    Cleaning air fliter

    i have an after market air filter, k&n type to be exact. what is the best way to clean theses? i searched the forum and could not find anything. please enlighten me with your ideas and opinions on cleaning these. thank you!

      for real? that would make it easy. is there any special filter oil i should apply on it before installing it back on my car?

          K&N filter cleaner kit... get the kit, it will last you a dozen cleanings. You must oil the filter as that is pretty important on thin guaze filters.

            kamotors, i bought you enclosed carbon fiber kit. you recommend oiling these and using the filter cleaning kit?
