Need Help turbo what to do

Hey guys im new to the fourms thing so im going to try my best till i learn i have a 1984 325e im going to sawap the motor with an 325i motor and turbo it i wanted to know what should i get i want to do it right the first time i do not want to run crazy boost due to the fact it is my daily the most im looking for 10 or 15 what do i do as far as tunning and internals and tranny all advice will be greatly appreciated

From what I have read, internals are fine, transmission is fine. MLS and head studs with megasquirt or Miller WAR/MAF combo should be all you need.

ok wich is better for plug and play mega squirt or the Miller WAR/MAF and are arp head studs good enough

I don't know much about MS except what I've read and heard...
An From what I've read it's not a plug in play.. Or at least it wasn't when I was looking for an EFI setup, that's why I got the War chip,
The war chip you do have to cut and tap one wire on the harness to run the maf
but It was easy and when doing it I built it so I could put it back to stock at anytime.

For me the Miller chip and MAF was easy to setup, tune, and live with.
It's daily driver tested, and I haven't had one problem with it yet..

I also know people with the MS setup have had as much sucess and drivability as me.

were can i get the miller chip from and does it explain what wire to cut and tap to run the maf and do you have to remap the bov into the pipe you can not leave it open and what size waste gate should i run for small amounts of boost and injector size and spark plug i would appreciate it if you can pm me a list of things i'm going to need to turbo my car i have manifold and turbo but dont know what else i need thanks so much for the help

where in miami are u?? im tunning on stock motronic, so far im running m30 air flow meter and 24lb injectors, ill have to replace the wastegate spring to a 8psi one and see what happens or get 36lb injectors and tune it again

I'm running eclipse turbo (cold) plugs. They are 1 step colder and cheap and easy to find. Paid like $1.50 each at napa.

im down in south florida but the car isnt together yet i just want to get all my stuff together since this is my daily i dont want to much down time on the car

I have to add on here that running around 10-14 pounds, you can get away with running stock HG if you have head studs and a decent tune, which usually takes a Stand alone system. Im in the process of building mine and have read quite a bit on stock head gasket getting the job done with studs. I cant give facts for im still underway getting my MS unit to get her running. Just thought i would add my thoughts.

"Stock" headgasket is fine as long as its not a victor reinz. I'm running 1lbar on metric blues. Lots of people have had good success with a decent tune. You can always o ring the block for crazy boost levels
