    bov question

Does the bov have to be in front of the throttle body or can it be after?
I was watching a hpf video and it looks to me like the bov is after the throttle body, do they also have one somewhere else or what? what am I missing here?

Needs to be before the tb.

I think hpf uses 2 bovs.

So is there an advantage to running 2 bov's with one behind the throttle body?
I've never seen it like that before.

You are not confused by the individual throttlebodies on the S54 then? Witch mounts between plenum and cyl head. Can easily be mistaken for the intake if youre unaware.

Two bov's can be better for faster release of boost.
To get the best result you should sketch up the pressure tubes, angles and so on in a flow program to correctly find the best place to position them, if thats really something that bother you.

But really, no major issue in the big picture of a FI engine on street level.

Oh, thanks man I get it now,I thought there was only 1 throttle body and that it was at the opening of the manifold.

for what it's worth to just throw this in this thread, I always like to vent before the intercooler. Many people say to vent just before the TB, but I would rather vent hot boost than cool boost.
