was thinking about getting a 14" thin mount in place of the aux fan, but still not sure there is enough clearance with the ac lines and condenser

I also made solid mounting tabs. It's just sitting on the outlets for mock up in those pics. I was also able to fit a 14" spal fan with a ~2" depth between the radiator and intercooler.

I don't have AC, but mine comes nowhere near where the compressor would be. Might interfere with the condenser and lines though.

I was thinking of keeping AC in the next car I put this motor in, but that's a ways off.

My coolers getting welded today, by this weekend ill install it and show you how much room is in there, once you remove the condensor nd fan, you'll see how much space you have.

if your running 2.5 in pipe it will fit right under the head lights if you take the front bumper you dont see any intercooler piping

IIRC db guys have more room then the plastic guys as far as intercooler mounting goes.

I might be wrong on that though....

Thanks for the advise EthirtyIS. I'll have to removed my bumper/valance and see what kind of room I have to work with (with my DB's and non ES/IS valance)

hey_you, honestly dont even kick around the idea of smic's, they would be so small, they would just cause a restriction and you would spool slower, i looked into the simc, because i have a small turbo, and figured i wouldnt need a fmic. wrong.... get a nice small fmic, paint black, install, be done, and no one will know untill you let off the acc pedal...

Does anyone happen to have access to z32 Nissan 300zx twin turbo SMIC's? I have been wondering if they would fit behind the headlights. Seems like they would work by looking, but may be too tall? I might be acquiring a set of baby twin turbo's off of a Volvo XC90 for free. Maybe a TT m10 in the future, just processing some ideas.

I have an early model, and don't have the big ES or IS front air dam. Is there a spot where I could put a front mount and not have it showing (much), or is it possible to run 2 little side mounts behind the headlights? I don't have a washer bottle anymore, or the plastic shields that go behind the headlights. I have been searching like mad but haven't been coming up with much. Maybe I'm not searching with the correct terms, but all I can find are pictures of early models with the big valance
