M20B27 stock internal

Hey Guys

i need to know the Maximum HP can M20B27 handle with turbocharge using the stock internal.
my plan is to use M20B27 Block with M20B25 head and turbocharge it with Performance chip.
the question is how much hp i could get, any similar Project ?

i have a eta 325e from a 1987 bmw that i swaped into my car i had the whole engine rebuilt using stock internals the oly thing that is different is my cam its in i cam in an e head and i had the head drilled out so that way the cam would work and i rut 10 lbs with a war chip i dont know how much hp im guessing close to 300 right now but in not to sure

These engines can take a long way if your tuning right. If your using eBay rrfpr, eBay turbo chip and slightly larger injectors. Don't much expect more than 250whp. And you'll run a high risk of causing detonation which can cause head gasket failure. Not good
On the other hand you could run a nice standalone such as VEMS. And be able to be far more flexible with tuning and you can get heaps more power on a more reliable engine. Some guys in Norway are boosting a stock 325i motor tuned with VEMS and getting over 650whp.
A lot tuned m20 turbos out there are putting down 300-400whp without much issues. Tuning is the key. I'd say concentrate on that more than others.

That engine can handle more power then a stock ecu and AFM can be chipped for.

whodwho's units are really badass. and he sells them for a very good price. forget fprs and afm tuning, you won't get anywhere and you'll end up blowing your motor.
