Yeah man the shitty thing is I have all the motivation in the world but being only 18 I hit road blocks because Im just an 18 year older without a real job as of current.

Sounds like me when I was 18, but I was dropping a ton of money into my Audi A4. I'm 23 now, and it's slow at my shop, so I have been getting sent home early or told to take days off. Kills my paychecks. If it was summer, I would have finished my build already (broke my wrist this summer so still paying off my surgery on it)

I'm 18, but I gotta be honest, you have balls to do all this at your age. Makes me mad jealous. And I check this thread every other day. I love how there is actually progress! (unlike some threads, including my own)

              Thanks man.

To be honest 8 months ago I was scared to pull my intake manifold let alone work on anything. Since then Ive had the motor in and out 3 times lol. Thats the great thing about e30s, you build up the balls to take them apart, you figure out whats wrong, you learn all about it when you put it all back together, then youve made that aspect of your car your bitch then you move on to the next project. If you read the first page of this thread i had ZERO idea what i was talking about or doing but now I do. Live once.

Just make sure you know what torque specs are supposed to be, and which bolts need loctite! Otherwise you will be kicking your own ass later

Haha, excellent. Although, it's supposed to be to snug, then a quarter turn before it snaps!
