Rumor has it that summit and eastwood paint are both repackaged Kirker paint. Kirker makes nice paint it just needs to be thinned out a little extra.

When looking for paint double check how much actual "sprayable paint" you're getting. Sometimes the cans are only 3/4 filled.

Check out tcp paints. Mixed reviews, but they claim their products are almost identical to PPG's, just different mix ratios.

I heard it takes a little over a gallon to spray an e30, I was just planning on getting 2 so I can practice a little.

Not sure. I dont wanna spend more then like 200-300 on paint if possible

I bought a gallon and a quart, and ended up with two quarts. I used half of one of the quarts to paint my engine bay, the other half as practice; The rest to storage incase of damage and what not. Even the same paint from the same can will never match exactly, but its as close to it as possible.

Anything is better then the 4 shades of white I have on my car now.

Which MS are you running? Are you wiring straight to the harness (cut out the 88pin) or making an adapter board?

an adapter board would be the way to go IMO.

Thanks man. Looking back I had no idea what I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning, now Im starting to get my feet on solid ground now with this whole turbo thing.

an adapter board would be the way to go IMO.

This would be the best choice. This also makes it easier to wire up the bip373's.
They are the coildrivers and since it is a 24 valve, you need 6 of them. Unless you are running wasted spark. Then you need 3. Or if you run the lsx pencil style coils, you just have to put the one bip373 in the normal spot on the board. The lsx coils have a built in coil driver. This is all with regard to ms3 and the expansion though.
