Hey guys, I have quite a few turbo parts collected for my m10 but i still need to look at some engine management or so i have been told. I am wondering what i should be looking for? i know there is mega squirt, but what are some other options? I am tight on cash so i am looking for something that isnt to hard on the wallet. Not sure if you guys would know where to look for something used even. I am only looking at getting maybe 180-200HP nothing too wild, if anybody has any suggestions or info please let me know. cheers and thanks

Really...megasquirt is the most viable option. You really shouldn't be looking elsewhere. Why you may be asking. Because if you take a different route, then you will be on your own for tuning, and will have to pay a lot to find someone that can tune it. Megaquirt can do anything you will need it to for your build (as I am building a turbo m10 as well and will be using megasquirt). There is a lot of support for Megasquirt and many people on this site can assist/give guidance on what's involved. You can find used megasquirt systems, or new ones that people have given up on. The only other cheaper option I can think of is finding a distributor with a retard canister (under boost) and run that with a raising rate fuel distributor. But...you will never have the smoothness/consistency of a good tune, and I hear that setup is tricky to tune to begin with as you often have to choose between having a good idle, or having enough fuel under boost.
