    Lc-1?

It should have came with a manual on what wires do what.

What specifically do you need? In the cab? Or in the bay? Controller or gauge?

Using motronic to tune? Everyone has problems sometimes.
        Use a separate bung.

You don't. They list it as a feature and then they tell you that lots of cars hate it when you do that. Weld a separate bung to your exhaust.

ahhh okay i see, i feel kinda foolish because i just saw the down pipe i have and it has 2 bung im guessing i leave one for the stock and the other just connect the lc-1?

but my question now is how do i wire it?, meaning do i need to tap into the ecu or something?as for the motronic tune i have a piggyback for the ecu , this came off a running e30 325i so its already tuned i want to go megasquirt sometime soon but ill just settle with the piggyback for now..

Here's what I did. By no means is this the best way...but it works for me.

I spy boost gauge ;) I have the same one.

Do you have a 7 wire lc-1 or a 6 wire? I imagine you have a 6 wire. Those seem to be the most common.

Basically the stock o2 sensor is sending a narrowband signal to your ecu. Your new LC-1 can do the same thing. It has an analog out (yellow wire on the lc-1) which can take place of what the stock o2 did and send the ecu a narrowband signal.

What I did: deleted stock o2. Welded on new bung for the new sensor. Stripped back the harness for the stock o2 (sensor side, NOT ecu side) tapped into the wire for the narrowband signal and the ground and the power. The ground and power both gave me issues so I ended up grounding it out on one of the shock tower bolts and the +12v I got from the little box next to the fuse box. One of those is a constant, one is switched. You're going to want the switched one.

Stock o2 connectorfdfdfdfdfdfd LC-1 wires (only need the bold one)

              Yellow --------------------------- White
              Black ---------------------------- Yellow
              Brown --------------------------- Blue
              Green/blue ---------------------- Red

Pictures of what I did (I thought I was going to be using all of the 4 wires, that's why I did it this way)

              Take out o2

              Cut

Wire in new wire. (I made this picture just for reference) Only do the narrowband signal...don't do power/grounds. Attach the yellow wire coming off of the lc-1 to the black wire coming from the harness

The harness will look like this. There are 4 wires.

The confusing part is is that the color of the wire changes when it goes through the harness....don't worry about that though. Forget I even said it :)

Ground out your grounds, give it the switched +12v, wire up gauge/calibration button, calibrate, and tune!

Hope that helps! Let us know if you have anymore questions. I was in the same boat as you when I was trying to wire mine up.

okay so, i get that i have to wire the BLACK wire from stock O2 harness to the YELLOW wire on the LC1 but now what do i do with the Other color wires from the LC1 like, BLUE, BROWN, and the 2 WHITE wires from the stock connector>?? ,i read the black and red from the LC1 are for the button and light power n ground right?

but then i was reading this www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50206 and at the bottom he explains what he did and its different from what you told me JAY , he says the Brown wire from the LC goes to the black wire on the o2 ...SOOO CONFUSED can someone just let me know what they did lol but JAY if it works for you i guess ill just wire it how you did it.

There's different opinions out there on which sends the narrowband signal, so I called innovate. I asked them and they told me it is the yellow wire (analog 1) that sends the narrowband signal. So for me, I used the yellow wire. I have no issues with it. Do your homework though...I have no doubt some will argue with me.

As far as the other wires go...

                      Brown Analog out 2

Correct. Just cap the brown wire off

Wait, why are you connecting so many wires to the o2 harness...?
