    Flipped exhaust manifolds with adapter

I was looking at the OBX adapter but then I saw this....

Kenji 325is (from the tech) made this one:

Who else has made their own adapter? It can't be too tough. What size piping did you use? I am looking at this flange for the t3: http://www.ebay.com/itm/T3-T04E-Turb...#ht_1355wt_912 The power goals I'm shooting for aren't too high...something around 280-300whp.

I don't have the stock headers on hand right now so I can't measure, but would this work fit (the part of the adapter that attaches to the stock headers)? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-0-EXHAUST-...r#ht_500wt_927

And not too sure about wastegate yet. External for sure. Thinking of a 44mm wastegate.

Just looking for some more pictures and thoughts as to how I should make it.

    Thanks r3v.

Scratch the stock headers flipped upside down....

Thinking about just making an adapter like OBX does.

medium flat rate box would do it wouldn't it? my manifolds cost about $50us to get sent over. possibly pm me? i could be keen on that adapter trooper.

Find a M42 manifold, they have individual exhaust pipes, cut and weld to fit!

I just measured... just for you. Those triangle pieces will probably fit. The stock triangle is about 3in from the outer edge of one bolt to the opposite edge of the other bolt and 1.75" diameter. So to use those pieces you might need to sort of port the stock manifolds a little bit. Maybe slot the bolt holes if they are too close together?

Um... totally different flange, and it's not even a turbo manifold. Why would someone cut a M42 manifold?

Slot the bolt holes on the new flanges, right?

Thank you for measuring! Still contemplating it the mani...should I build my own? Or buy one.

What size pipe are these manifolds typically made out of? That flange's hole is 2" so I'm thinking 2". How thick?
