Runnin rich under boost, pinning the a/f gauge

Had the car running fine. Let it sit for a week or two while i worked on some headlight wiring and such. Went to start it and nothing. Thought maybe no fuel pressure or out of gas (wasnt sure if fuel gauge was working). So i added about 20l and tried again. After alot of cranking it fired and idled perfect (14.7 on a/f). I let it warm up and went for test. As soon as its coming off idle it starts going rich. When you actually start hitting boost it pins the gauge to 10. I have my BEGI backed out all the way now and no change. Im thinking BEGI rebuild? Any other thoughts out there?

Im using maf with turbo chip. And i dont think i was outta gas, fuel gauge is working fine (its a fresh build, no street miles yet). Now it fires up no prob, not loosing fuel pressure. Its like someone flicked a switch and now its rich.
My vac line to the BEGI seems to be fine. Any one have this?

could be a bad maf if you have a fpr try turning the fuel pressure down. hope you can figure it out. What do you have done to it?

Ebay turbo kit. Ebay chip. O-ring block, and tps boost switch.

        a hobbs switch?
does it ground the tps under boost?

Yep. But I even disconnected that. No change. Worked on it tonight and found now my waste gate isn't opening. I did some air flow spring adjustments and idle screw. Better but until I get that wastegate working my testing has somewhat come to an end.

Sketch. What waste gate are you using? Did it come in that eBay kit? The Hobbs switch shouldn't really be causing any issues. Do you know if grounding the tps adds ignition timing?

Well after further consideration I don't think I'll investigate the wastegate just yet. Problem could be from the rich running dropping out and giving inconsistent signal to it. I have this identical set up (diff fmu and injectors) in another m20. It runs like a champ. Further investigation tomorrow. Going to recheck with a fuel pressure gauge connected and see what's happening. The issues really started after swapping the dme's from non-chipped to chipped. But that being said I wasn't under the impression that the fuel mapping was changed, more so just the ignition timing?

Oh and the switch didn't come with the eBay kit. I just sourced a similar item from the local hardware store distributor. Worked perfect till the swap. Not sure the manufacturer of the wastegate. No "brand" name to speak of.

turbo chips typically just retard timing, but i was reading another thread that says when then tps grounds to wot, the ecm adds timing for accel and also ignores o2 and uses preloaded fuel maps, do these chips from say TCD removed wot timing advance??
                  anyone know?

Well i rebuilt my begi. It had a rupture. Any one check their one way valve on those things? Mine is working but very restricted on the flow through side. Its running better now. I took apart my wastegate and reassembled. Didnt find anything strange. I did a few runs that hit 14psi. Felt awesome but also not cool. Cant trust the wg. Is supposed to be 8-10psi. Ill maybe do some runs tomorrow again. Still running a bit rich. Im gonna smoke test it for any intake leaks later this week. All seems good though.
