    Swaping m30 into e30

swapping an m30b35 into my 86 e30 very soon

how much extra work will it be adding a turbo AFTER the swap?

what engine parts should I replace/add before the swap?

Could someone point me in the right direction of a general parts list? I dont feel like shelling out 4k for a TCD kit, sorry

hopefully I can have a beautiful turbod e30 for you guys in the next few months!

anyone have a good idea about tuning on your own? I imagine that having a shop tune it for you will be $$$

Id boost it before you out it in. i dont know how much room there is with an m30 in an e30 but i can tell you that my turboed m42s exhaust side was a pain in the ass. If i were to do it again id have the downpipe, turbo, etc. on the motor before i dropped it in.

As for replacement parts do the rear main seal for sure. I dont know jack shit about m30s so im no help here. And tuning definitely needs to be done professionally.

How are you going to boost it before the engine is even in the car?

Engine swap is a different story than turbo, organize your ideas first, then swap the engine, put the manifold in and dp, take all the measurements, then pull the engine out and do the rest of work :)
