    HELP: MBC install

    Hi guys,

I've a manual boost control and turbosmart ultra 38 gate, how do i install the mbc?

    It's like this

    and the gate is like

I've connected the bottom port to the turbo, and "T" to the mbc "In" port, and the top port of the gate connected to the mbc "Out"

Hope that eas clear to you :( is it correct? because the mbc gauge is not working (moving),

May be as it's not connected to the intake?

May be it'll move when under boost?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated

you need a boost source. There is usually a nipple on the turbo compressor housing. Use that to your boost controller. Then it should go to your wastegate.

So... Turbo -> MBC -> WG.

Your MBC won't open until your target PSI is reached. and the wastegate won't open until the wastegate spring can be overcome. If your WG spring is set to 6psi, your wastegate won't open until 6psi, even if your MBC is set to 3psi.

No, still didn't drive it, tomorrow.. but I asked some of my friends they told me it's correct, and as for the gauge, they said that turbo don't read vacuum, so under boost it'll move

        Anyway, thanks guys :)
