Turbo E30 exhaust??

got the turbo on Im curently waiting for the fmic kit, wg and ecu to arrive. i have to do a side exhaust out the finder. fml its loud. ill post pics soon!

Yeah, that is what I was thinking- I have seen them fail before. Made sure to made it solid to keep it from falling apart.

I have a 3" aluminum exhaust on mine from the downpipe to the muffler. The whole center section weighs in at 6.2lbs. I have ran the piss out of the car, and no problems with the exhaust yet.

im rhd and going to be running 3" off the turbo and spiltting to dual 2.25" when the down pipe gets under the car.

im doing it for ground clearance and the dual 2.25" will flow slightly more then the single 3"

I'm using a turbonetics muffler.... straight pipes:)

What muffler are you guys using? It's hard to find a single 3" inlet with a 3" dual outlet.

Why dual outlet?

Single outlet with a Y pipe ---> 2 tips.

Thanks for the post i was starting to feel like a redheaded stepchild. Jk lol. Im still thinking about the 3 inch all the way back but I'm look at where the downpipe is going to be and since my car is a rhd the exhaust is going to be hitting or really close to the steering rack so it's raising some concerns. has any one done a side cut out on their e30 if so, any pics/links? Thanks
