    Help me pick a turbo

Hey guys Im looking into doing a turbo build and want to start making my list of everything i need. Ive started looking at turbos and Im not sure what size would be perfect for me. I have a stock m20b25 and am looking to making abut 250hp. I may want to go up to 300hp later on but for now ill aim for 250hp.

I came along this and was wondering, would this be a good sized turbo for my power goals? Also is this a good price?(my price limit for a turbo is 600) tell me what you think and thanks in advance

It's internal wastegate, is that the route you're going to take?

Seems pretty small to me. I'd look for something a bit bigger. .60/.63 maybe.

The internal wastegate seems like it would be an easier route to take. how would a .60/.63 spool up? Im looking for something will spool up pretty fast and will give me room to make 300hp in the future

T3 turbo family, 50 trim compressor with a .42 A/R, it is a .48 A/R on the turbine side and the hot side trim I believe is 50 also.

This is written in the details.. Anyway it'll spools around 2500 rpm - full boost, but it may not handle the 300hp

I suggest to go with holset hx35 from the beginning, it'll spool fast too

I had that exact(?) turbo on my m20b27. The spool isn't as quick as you'd expect for such a small turbo, but I think it would flow enough to hit your 250 hp goal.

          vs an HX35

I think the HX35 spools almost as quickly.

The H1C and Hx35 seem like they're quite big and in this thread http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74816 the guy says it comes on too hard (thats what she said lol)and i would like something i could enjoy on the street

It's too bad that you are limited to $600 because a GTX28R would be just about right.
