    becuase the good&tight manifold is great, the work is done already its clean solid and not very expensive. I love mine. just get the good stuff first time around all youll end up doing is wanting to upgrade all the weak points later anyway....my 2 anyway

      well, because I'm doing this for the experience, I really want to make my own manifold. I have all the tools and hardware necessary. My family owns a machine shop. Good&tight is definitely my backup manifold for sure. Beautiful work, but I want the experience, and I really want some help on design. I seriously do not understand why no one is making manifold adapters?

        Hey man, forge your own path. I have built a y adapter for a VR6 once if that's what your refering to. a ton easier than making a manifold from scratch.
        84 318, 86 325ES, 85 325E. 89 325IS,

          Get your hands durty and take some measurements. The only way your going to get the experience you want is to figure it out yourself.

            Here is the thread I got my inspiration from. Not a bunch of info on this site, so I figured I would help you out. There are several ways to go about an adapter style. I f I were to make one on an E30, I would mount the turbo up behind the passenger headlight and run the DP over top the stock cast manifolds. Wastegate would run under the collector.
