    Piecing together a turbo build

Hello everyone, I'm a long time lurker with a bunch of friends who have built e30's, now im taking the plunge and am looking for a little advice.

    GOAL: 350-400hp

    What I have:
    spare M20
    HX35 (7 blade 12cm)
s50 rods (these will work, right?)
ETA crank (s50 rods will work with this crank, right?)
    New OEM head gasket
    ARP Head Studs

Planning to buy (open to advice):
    O-ring the block
    Intercooler/piping etc

    Help please!:
    Tuning/management (MSpnp?)
What injector size should I buy?

Any thoughts and ideas are welcome and thanks again for the advice. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you guys! :D

(I have used the search but could not find much on the ETA crank w/ s50 rods)

60lb injectors would be your best choice IMO, however, even 42lb can do well for ~350whp

    O-ringed block = YES
    MSpnp = WIN

    and about the rods:

      Great thanks!

and just to clarify, a set of stock m20 pistons, s50 rods and an Eta crank would all be compatible and would be a 2.7 right?

S50 rods are 135mm the same as m20 so with an eta crank yes youll be at a 2.7. If your gonna spend money on s50 rods I wouldnt cause they are the same size as your stock ones (unless it was stock an eta) and stock will hold up fine well into 500hp.

        Already said mspnp yes
        oring yes
        60lb injectors yes
        goetze gasket for sure
        easily 400hp.

I made 500hp on a stock 2.5 motor with ms and 60s and no oring just fine(but If you can oring it do it, it can only help). You will probably be right around 20psi too

i got the rods for about $50 and were weight matched already. I heard they were a little stronger and lighter, so what the heck, right.

60lb injectors, would you just suggest the Bosch style 3 ones?

                Cool thats ok then

No doesnt have to be welded but it helps a lot giving more surface area bolted down

                60lb seimens injectors from injectorconnection.com

And yes thats the right gasket. Cheaper on pelican parts I think

And do some research on turbo builds over on e30tech theres a lot of turbo info there
