    cheap turbo

    i am able to buy a 16g turbo for $100. do u guys think it'd work? is it even worth the trouble?

    maybe a 20g but correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the 16g is even smaller and it's airflow would not be good enough for a 2.5 motor.

      they're upgrades for dsms (2.0 ltr), so hopefully it'll flow enough. i want it to spool relatively quick anyway

        that's right, I had my turbo's mixed up the 16g, is the evo III turbo.

        I think it is a T28. the flow rate should be fine for a M20. should be able to make about 300-350 whp with that turbo, which for an m20 to get to 300whp is a lot of work and is plenty fast enough.


        just make sure to boost 8psi or more, the flow chart look like that makes its power from about 8psi to 19psi.

                1st gen DSM buddy says if youre only gonna run 8psi, a 14b is good enough. 16g is probably a little on the big side. $100 for a MISTSUBISHI 16g is good he says.

                  do a twin turbo setup!

                  run dual SR20 turbos... get a custom manifold done, and ur set for maximum pimpage!
