    Thanks fellas.

I've also been making gaskets for all of the supercharger flanges. I'm just using the roll o gasket from the hardware store (the paper kind), then I slather it up with gasket sealant on both sides and install.

That really sucks. I gave myself an L5S1 disk injury lifting weights with bad form when I was ~19 (Holy crap... that was 16 years ago). I have reinjured it at various points since then. I finally saw a real doctor about it, had some physical therapy, reorganized my lifestyle a bit, reintegrated the right stretching in my weightlifting routine and am on track to be stronger at 36 than I was at 22. Last workout was 280 x 20 in the trap bar deadlift.

If it's a muscle injury, let it rest and it'll be ok in a day or two. If it's a disk injury, get some professional advice from a sports medicine oriented orthopedist.

I zeroed it out so it should be back in calibration.

It appears you need to recalibrate your elbow.

So, the timing belt is on and I was turning the motor over by hand with a breaker bar and I'd swear that I was feeling one cylinder with lower compression. So instead of just checking the compression, I fretted and pissed and whined and was all "I'm just gonna not check the compression and I'm just gonna install this damn thing because I've been working on it too damn long to have to pull it all apart and redo it now". But my good buddies known to you as Chondamax and Agent here on r3v, said I had to check and if I didn't, I was a moo-ron. So I did and this is what I got:

    1

    2

    3

    4

    5

    6

So I was glad. Thanks again AndyB. and Swanny!!

This evening I put the intake and exhaust manifolds onto the new motor. Also painted a bunch of brackets and such. I'm about sick of painting…

Broken motor mount and trans mount on the driver's side. Ordered new ones. I also ordered a new clutch. Sachs pressure plate (made in Germany) and fx racing kevlar somethingorother disc (made in USA) for $200. The combo is rated at 305hp and about the same tq. That should be plenty.
