E30 M30 Turbo Build Thread...

Do the higher power level turbo m30's (say 500 whp) suffer any more lag or loss of throttle response than those with say 300-400 whp which I imagine can be minimized with attention to detail?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can hit 500whp based on your setup, especially e85..

No, not yet. Goodntight is making over 500whp and 600ft/lbs tq on a stock bottom end. He has a b34 motor though, so if this bottom end grenades, i'll be building up a b34 block. I'm not expecting any issues at these levels with a good tune.

What's up guys? I guess it's time i start making one of these seeing how i have gotten all my parts together and with warmer weather coming soon, the build will start.

Here's the goal. 1990 325is, m30b35 swap, 500whp reliably on e85.
