What size tire/wheels for 300hp?

I could've put this in the wheel section, but I don't know if those guys are much over stock power. Was looking at the specs on a 350z which has roughly the same weight and power as I will have, and they run 225f/245r on 17". I know that probably won't fit under our fenders. Should I make the leap to stretch the fenders out, or can I swing enough traction out of the 15" wheels? Or is there a go to setup that we use on here I'm not aware of?

Wouldn't mind some mtechnica turbo wheels... ;D

I've ran everything from 195/60 bottle caps to 235/45/17 my car makes like 325 on low boost. Either way it spins second. I'd look into a drag radial if you're really concerned. I've had pretty good luck with 205/40/16 Yokohama S drives
