I know this is late, especially since its running, but I'll bet a LOT of money that runners 4,5 and 6 do not line up to the head work a crap.....don't let the flange fool you. I have the same manifold....see below on how I had to fix it....

Bolted to my jig, cut flange in half, cut back three ports.



Cut the rear 3 runners off at the end of the collector



Bolted up flange to the jig.......Gap central son.



Cut 2" spacer piece for the gap at the collector



Flawless fit......even for eBay garbage.....

apparently the obx adapter I'm running has a similar issue where the flange should be cut off and extended in order to properly mate with the factory exhaust manifolds

Yeah the ebay manifold is a temp....had to get the car out of the wifes spot for she pushed out the door. Nice work on yours!!! Plus I wanted to see if I like the charactor of the e30 since I have never driven one....

Well if you ever want it fixed, or want a custom manifold hit me up. I'm in Omaha and have many friends in the KC area that can vouch for me. Great work on the car!

Finally got my lift in!! No more crawling on the floor for underbody work.....hehehe! And more room!

Another update...after a wiring mistake that fired my coil pack and MS unit. WhoDwho to the rescue- a new coil pack and I’m back running. While waiting on the parts to return I installed the ice for the Bronsit queen. New Sony head unit/kicker 750.5 amp and a kicker pair of 10s the e30 now has tunes!!! I didn’t change out the speakers –followed the tips from the ice threads and quite impressed with the stock premium speakers. Not bad….not bad at all.

Things still to do- I’m wiring in the boost control solenoid for MS control. alignment, wiring in the abs wires in the front, bleed the clutch and work on my down pipe. Its hang down more than I want or can have….rubs on everything.

Well...as with most projects. I take one step forward and three back. So I started running into fuel pressure issues-losing. Found that my cleaned up tank is still junk and killed my fuel pump. So new tank installed. Pump on the way....while I was there I replaced the upper brake lines/center bearing/changing the shifter out and replacing the selector seal!!!! Fun stuff!!

Boy i fell behind on this....To answer some questions. I went with the AGP BW256rs with .63 v band and billet wheel. And I can say it is an animal. So much so it finished off the week bottom end. Boost came on quick and it will put out what ever your bottom end will take. I was running the cxracing 3" exhaust and I liked it. I had some alignment issues due to an error made by me, but for a bolt on wasn't bad. I had to mod the downpipe and thats where I made my mistake but other than that it was fine.

I will be selling my set up and going to the dark side. I got the hots for an S62! Any one looking for some stuff let me know....I'll be setting up a post soon.
