    Turbo Oil Feed

Ive read and it seems like a lot of people are running their turbo feed off of the stock oil pressure switch. Does anyone have pictures of this? I plan on running VDO gauges so I'm wondering if this will work with the gauges and the oil feed lines.

Thanks for your patience, I'm still learning.

I plan on running oil temp, oil pressure, and wideband gauges on my m20.

m20? Yeah, lots of people run it off the pressure switch with something like this:
Uses the oil pressure switch location to add a 1/8 NPT outlet. Commonly used for turbo oil feed lines or oil pressure gauge sender installation. Retains the stock oil pressure switch as well. Screw…

That way you can still use your stock pressure switch - probably the easiest way.

You can also use a sandwich plate that goes in between the oil filter and oil distribution block - those have 3 ports, so you can use one for a feed and other two for gauges.
I'm using one for my oiling gauges http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=271088

For my feed, I had the bolt that holds the oil distribution housing to the block tapped for a feed line.

I didn't know if I needed a specific one for my oil filter type.

I don't know the part number, but m20's take 3/4"-16 into the block so this one works. Shop around, I think there are some units that actually cost less than what I posted. Don't get an anodized fancy colored one - they don't ground well for gauges.

Personally I think the sandwich ones are great, as long as they don't leak. The TRM adapter for the oil pressure port is crazy expensive though. You can get a simple adapter tee for M10x1.5 to 2x 1/8NPT for about $5 from McMaster or Amazon. Since nearly all oil pressure senders (such as the VDO ones) include a terminal for the "idiot light" you can use that sender for double duty (eliminating the stock sender) and the remaining port can be used for oil temp or plugged. Either way, you get 2 ports for less than half the price of the TRM 1-port piece.
