A few turbo questions...

Hey everyone, i've been tossing around the idea of going turbo for a while, the idea of installing a whole new computer sorta intimidates me. Due to that fact i gave up on turbo...until recently when i saw that there is a chip made for 7psi of boost, so here are the questions...

-what's the best turbo for this type of setup, through searching i've found that holsets are pretty decent but i can't seem to find any for sale...used or otherwise. so, where can i find the holsets or anyother suitable turbos?

-what injectors are the "#24" injector size? http://itgperformance.com/product_in...roducts_id=154???? would those be the right ones?

Have you tried ebay? Alittle scary yes, but I have looked for turbos on there and I have found many holsets and Garrett's. You might want to just look there and see what you can come up with

hmm, yes i've seen some on ebay but i'm afraid they're too big...but then again, can't i control boost via wastegate and blow off valves? is there a turbo made for around 7psi of boost?

Turbo's aren't set to a certain Psi.

the wastegate allows the exhaust gas to bypass the hot (exhaust) side turbine, thus allowing a controll over the Pressure induced by the cold (compressed) side turbine.

you can literally use any turbo for any application and *control* it with the wastegate.

Of course you need to study all the following variables:
-engine exhaust cfm vs. Rpm.
-turbo maps to find out which one best suits the above as to provide with an output of most cfm at a given rpm.
