Thoughts about a precision 6265 BB

I have the opportunity to pick up a precision PT 6265 BB, ported s, T3 .82 A/R for a good price. Going on a M52B28 lowered compression (.140 MLS) with Otis T3 manifold. My HP goal is as much as I can get before getting into built motor or big money for a few more HP. I've been doing research and the 6262 is the prefered choice for most. My question is would a 6265 be a good match and what should I expect performance wise?

I have a Journal bearing 6262 on my 2.8 stroker. It makes around 12psi at 4k. If I did it again, I'd go smaller, 5858 or 6062 ball bearing. A 6262 is good for upto 700hp, and I won't ever make that.

It's too big - lag city. Go with something a touch smaller than a 35R
