Need help fitting inter cooler

Bit off way more than I can chew with this project, but no sense in quitting now... Already have a roadblock just trying to mount the inter cooler. I have a 27x7x2.5. The radiator(?) fan was in the way of fitting so I just removed it. Is that okay or was it stupid? What should I mount the ic to? Is it standard to fabricate some sort of bracket? Goal was to have no visible trimming and keep my ac... Now I just want to get it completed so I can experience a turbo e30.

We removed the aux fan and fabricated some mounts....you can check out my build thread to see what we did. We also notched the frame so run the a/c lines. The a/c isn't the coldest, but I did have to eventually turn the a/c off while driving. If you need help with some of the work, I had a great experience with the folks at Spec Ops Motorsports on Raeford Rd past Skibo....right next to O'Reillys
