Calculating CFM requirements for turbine setups?

Sup bros, so I'm trying to plan a bit of an... unconventional turbo setup. For a while I was tossing around the idea of building my own jet engine out of a turbo, but the thought of burning my car to the ground kinda concerned me and starting it would be a real bitch

I then started eyeballing supercharger setups... and holy fuckety fuck fuck superchargers are expensive. For a decent one (for a LS) I'd be looking at spending about $6-7k. For about half the price, I can get a 500 CFM output (roughly) RC plane jet engine and a decent journal bearing turbo. The only thing I can't figure out is how big of a jet engine I'd have to get to spool the turbo up

Anyone know of any ways to calculate turbine housing/wheel CFM requirements? The generic calculators out there work off of displacement, ect. and don't really help me much

    Thanks in advance!
Working...
