    mspnp2,m20 turbo issue(HELP!)

    ALOHA EVRYONE!

I got some issues with my turbo m20 with the mspnp gen.2
so my car keeps back firing, burping and farting if you would say lol
I'm not sure what to check right now. timing is dead on. my wasted spark wiring should be correct. my AFR gauge isn't steady. ranges from 12 -22 on the gauge. has anyone had this issue???

also when I turn my ignition off my motor will keep running. any had this issue has well???

    MODS:
    id1000 fuel injectors
    turbo cam
    aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
    t3/60-a turbo

    NEED HELP ASAP!
    MAHALO(thank you)

The engine will keep running because I assume the megasquirt is always powered on, that's how the factory ecu is. Although typically the fuel pump will shut off and that's what kills the motor.

Tuning could be anything, make sure your map line is installed correctly, from there turn off ego correction. You usually want to set all the bins around your map dot equal to the same value so that little fluctuations in vaccum and rpm don't send the afrs crazy.

Lol WUT? Fuel pump is not what shuts down the engine.

Dude, step away from the keyboard.

I should of explained that in a better way, with the stock wiring configuration the megasquirt will always have power, you are having some kind of wiring issue where you can't shut off ignition. After that the fuel in the lines from when the pump was just running keeps the engine running. This was the issue I was having, it's a safer bet to wire your megasquirt to switched 12v so that megasquirt really is off.

Ah i gotcha now. Residual fuel pressure in lines keeps the engine running for a bit.
