    m20 turbo spark blow out

    hey everyone,
could someone help me out. my turbo m20 spark is blowing out approx. at 4500-5000rpm with only 10lbs of boost. my parts beside my bottom end of the block(2.7block I-head)

    vacmotor sports turbo cam
    garrett t3/60-1 turbo
    id1000 injector
    areomotive fuel pressure regulator
diyautotune 6-tower coil pack with the quad spark module
    ngk v-power spark plugs(bkr7e11)(5791) gapped at 0.025
    turbo-smart e-boost2 boost controller
that's what I can recall so far.
anyone experience this or knows whats going on? this is a reason why my tune was stopped.

    Mahalo everyone!

Does it blow out, but continue to 7000RPM?

4500-5000RPM is usually where a bad or badly positioned crank position sensor makes you hit a brick wall on the RPM range. Check to see if it's screwed in tight and appropriately positioned.

If that's dandy, try closing your gap to .022.
    A lot of m20 turbo's, including me, run bpr7es gapped at .022 - .025 without blowout 17psi and under.

Remember though, the tighter the gap, the worse your car will run at cruise/lean conditions.

What are you tuning the car with?
What's the AFR reading when spark blow out occurs and timing?
Need a Turbo manifold? We have them in stock- Click here---> http://rapidspoolindustries.com/

so I used the plugs recommend, my concern is still there. when hitting boost my spark blows out, rpm would be steady and no speed will increase. any other thoughts????

Sounds like a setting in MS needs adjustment.

Have you adjusted the accel enrichments settings? If your fuel VE MAP is good, turn off the EGO control.
