You can also use a restrictor that fits in one of the fittings in the line. We made one in a lathe and drill press for the wreck racing car.

Why would you put the BOV on the intake side of the turbo?

    *looks again*

an honest mistake, i thought it was on the compressor discharge

Very nice write up, can't wait to see more on how you run your lines and whatnot. I really enjoy the itemized parts lists you've been including, as that can be confusing some times. What will you be doing for engine management?

Quick question as i just got my iX out of the dead.... is this possible with the iX? will the oil pan and other differences in the iX make your great write-up different? if so, what parts?

i also like to know what you are doing about fuel and engine management.

thanks!! great post and very inspirational. love how you priced out most of the things. gives building this project a good budgeting idea.

Heya. I'm preparing for my build aswell. do you still have front vallance out ? I need the exact measurments of the interncooler area. I see you used IC with 2.5" ends, is that because 3" wont fit ? I'm aplnning on mounting the IC the same way you do. However I'm concerned about the airflow there (or rather lack of it - it's behind the bumper and vallance and in my case rego plate, etc)... what are you doing with oil cooler ? relocating it somewhere or what ?
