Im interested in this as well.

Racers market seems to have quite a bit of equipment/parts.

Can you guys recommend anywhere else to source parts/turbos?

      Top mount manifolds

I'm using a Turbonetics which, altough was not intended to be used as a top mount it can be spaced out to allow an hybrid T3/T4 turbo. As a spacer we cut the flanges from the S52 exahust manifold and then welded and adapter to raise the turbo and separate it even more from the head. (see the attached picture). In regards to the diff., a 2.93 works great if you opt to use the E36 M3 gearbox.

      Good luck with your projects...

Well, I'm using 42# injectors, low compression (9.5:1) JE pistons, stock rods, ARP head studs and an Hybrid T3/T4 Garret turbo with 3" exhaust all the way to the back. Timing and fuel is controlled by a TEC3R. A Devilsown water alcohol injection prevents detonation and so far we have achieved 334RWHP w 375 pounds of torque.

well if u have any idea how strong t304 stainless steel is then u wouldn't say that it would crack so easily, the manifold is very well made and shows no signs of weakness at any of the weld spots...so don't question my mechanical knowledge buddy b/c i may have a lot to learn but so do u if u want to judge so quickly just b/c something is sold on ebay, second of all i don't give a shit about spelling or grammar on a forum when it's web type anyway i'm not here to impress u or anyone else with my language, and i'm an english major so don't feel so obliged to correct me b/c i know better then u anyhow, just b/c u choose to use the built in spell check, it doesn't make u any smarter...i love my endless run-on grammatically incorrect responses so:finger:

This is a thread on e30tech.com that shows a S52 turbo swap. He used a custom Jon Volk (666 Fabrication) mani. I'm sure this guy can answer any of your questions:

                        Hey guys,

Our new T4 based m50 manifold fits the e30 M50. We also provide OBD1 programming. Our e36 m50 recently made 321rwhp on pump gas. Motor is untouched.

Architecture of the manifold is very similar to the m20 so fitment s/b perfect.
