    turbo setup?!!?!?!?!?

hey guys, im looking into getting a 325ix....and eventually turbocharging it.

id be using the 325ix for rally-x and maybe stage rally later on.

so id be looking for a smaller, low lag, reliable turbo setup. (or maybe a supercharger)

have any advice? any turbo "kits" i could look into. or what turbo to use? i just dont know where to get started.

    thanks guys!

if you are trying to make horsepower, get a ball bearing turbo of good size. I would route my blow off back into the intake to keep the turbo spinning and i think that would do it for you. WWW.turbochargingdynamics.com...talk to Todd he knows his stuff, he will help you.

He said LOW lag, not extra laggy.

A small T3/T4 would be a good option. Maybe a .48A/R exhaust housing.

not extra laggy on a tdo4hl? you are way off there, even though i am a garrett ma, run a t3/t4, the mitsu spools faster, less top end, but spools way faster

boy you cats are touchy, so how can we make a good suggestion? w/the important info like

CR, flow mods to the head, cam, manifolds available, and end power goal

do not put a 900$ turbo on a freashly turbod car, it will die if one of many things are wrong, and a bb turbo is not sevicable by most

Yeah, I need a little more attention to detail, I think. A little mitsu turbo would be good.

ask that question on e30tech forums. you wanna char with dude there called 'iXer'. he's building an ix aswell. he knows alot about turboing bmw's.

in the end of the day, you need to specyfy exacly, when do you want boost, how much horses you want, and how much you want to spend and then guys there will be able to direct you into some sort of compromise to get you as close to those goals.
